Crownhill's QuickBlue™ for quick and easy Bluetooth™ integration. This small-footprint PCB module utilises a PIC™ microcontroller and Cambridge Silicon Radio Bluetooth™ Chipset. A key feature is that the Bluetooth™ stack is embedded allowing the onboard PIC™ microcontroller to handle easy setup and configuration so that any existing RS232 can communicate wirelessly without the requirement for additional software to be written.

This Bluetooth Module contains Cambridge Silicon Radio Blue Core-2, which has complete radio part and base band controller section (16bits RISC processor, RAM and Flash memory). including a high accuracy reference oscillator and sub clock for extremely low power management.

Protocol software is pre-loaded into the integrated Flash memory and interfaces to the HCI layer the protocol stack on an appropriate host system.
